The Dorset Charity Plane Pull is one our favourite events and we are hoping that 2018 will see even more teams take part for Amelia’s Rainbow.

In 2017 we had five teams pull for Amelia’s Rainbow including our friends

at Curtiss-Wright and 4Com. We even had our very own Team Amelia made up of friends of the charity and some families that we have supported.

The 2017 Plane Pull event raised over £8,000 for Amelia’s Rainbow and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2018.

2017’s plane pull year saw some greats efforts/time from all who entered,

The next Dorset Plane Pull will be held on

Monday 27th August 2018

Time:

10:00am – 18:00pm

Location:

European Skybus Ltd

Enterprise Way Hurn

BH23 6EA

Want to know what’s involved in the Dorset Plane Pull?

It’s quite simple really – although by no means a small feat. The Dorset Plane Pull is hosted at Bournemouth Airport, where a team of 20 people pull a Boeing 737 weighing in at 35,000 Kg a distance of 50 meters.

Although some teams compete just for fun, the aim is to win the prize for the fastest pull over the 50-meter distance. All proceeds that you raise come direct to Amelia’s Rainbow.

And just in case that wasn’t enough, food, drink, live entertainment, stalls and exhibits are on site to keep both our pullers and spectators entertained throughout the day – we like to make sure that the Dorset Plane Pull is a great day out for everyone involved.
