The Charity is run by a dedicated team of Trustees, a Treasurer, a Project Developer and our wonderful charity volunteers.
Chantel is a registered nurse currently working in research. She also sits on the Gully’s Place Trust Fund committee (a children’s ‘hospice from home’) and helps with the Dorset Bereaved Parents Group. She is Amelia’s mum, and holds the mission of the Charity close to her heart.
Lynsey is a registered social worker currently working in older people’s services. She is dynamic and forward thinking. As one of the founding trustees, Lynsey is passionate about the services we provide and keeping the concept of the Charity true to its beginnings.
Karl is Amelia’s dad and is dedicated to ensuring the Charity benefits all children who are suffering any serious chronic, life limiting or terminal illnesses in Dorset. He also facilitates the local Bereaved Fathers Group, which has been invaluable to many parents who have experienced similar grief. Karl enjoys music and sport so he drives some our Charity fundraising in this way.
Julie is a civil servant and busy mum of four. She knew Amelia through school, and is enthusiastic about the aims of the Charity, managing community relations. She is incredibly hardworking and dedicated, and her family often help out at charity events.
Maureen is our Treasurer. She has vast experience of working with a number of different charities managing their finances. And her knowledge has proved invaluable.
Natalie is our Charity Project Developer. She has a wealth of experience in the business sector and is currently working with many local businesses to promote Amelia’s Rainbow, setting up new projects and fundraising. Her passion and enthusiasm constantly shines through in whatever task she undertakes.
