Over the last 6 years Amelia’s Rainbow has raised over £272,000 for children in Dorset who are suffering with any life limiting, serious chronic or terminal illnesses.

This year we are aiming to raise at least £60,000 and this will enable us to help many more children in Dorset. We have also set the goal of purchasing a second holiday home for our families to use after the success of Amelia’s Retreat being so in demand in 2016.

We are a small but passionate Charity and are very hands-on. We will support you in any ideas you have for fundraising, and hope that you would do the same.

We understand how much hard work goes into fundraising so as a Charity we keep our running costs to an absolute minimum and we network with local and national businesses so that we get the best deals where we can on merchandise, printing costs and events.

There are so many ways to get involved and help us make a real difference to the children and families who need it!

  • Do something small like a cake sale or mufti day!
  • Do something exhilarating like a sponsored parachute jump!
  • How about organising a group challenge and boost morale between colleagues or your friends and raise vital funds at the same time!

We can promote your events through our website and our social networking sites on Twitter and Facebook; where we have over 3,000 followers.

Please look at our ‘EVENTS CALENDAR’ for any fundraising events we have coming up; this is where you will also find further information on our individual and team fundraising challenges that are available for you to participate in.

If you think you may be able to help with fundraising activities, or are thinking of planning your own, why not get in contact – we’d love to hear from you.

Visit our Contact page for details.

We have an Amelia’s Rainbow online sponsorship page where our supporters and fundraisers can donate immediately to instantly make a difference:

We are also registered with eBay’s charity scheme and Vodafone’s text donation service.
