Amelia’s Rainbow Toy Appeal December 2016
We would like to express our most sincere thanks for everyones support with our Christmas Toy Appeal 2016; for the gifts donated, and for all the work put in to make this happen.
Over 300 presents were collected and distributed this year.
In addition to our regular visits to Poole Children’s ward on Christmas Day and Dorchester Children’s ward on Boxing Day, families the charity has supported throughout Dorset also had home visits. There were some very surprised and happy faces as you will see from our Toy Appeal photo gallery.
We are so lucky and massively thankful to have had the following huge amount of support with our Toy Appeal this year from:
4Com (Hurn Aviation Business Park)
Store & Secure Self Storage (behind Castlepoint)
Bournemouth Daily Echo
Top Cat Media Group (Pokesdown)
The Funky Peach (Parkstone)
MK Estates (Holdenhurst Road)
Nationwide Building Society (Richmond Hill)
Marks and Spencer (Bournemouth & Westbourne)
NatWest (Christchurch & Castlepoint) Christchurch Infant School & Twyneham School
The logistics of this year’s appeal were more challenging than ever, especially organising tailor-made Santa Sacks for families. This would never have been achieved without the amazing hard work and support given to us by some very special people who helped collect, sort, wrap, store and deliver the presents – we are so very grateful.
